Zero Calorie Foods … Eat As Much as You Like

Foods That Have No Calories

The fable goes that there are foods that have zero or even negative calories. That means that your body burns more calories digesting them than the calories they are delivering to your body.

Although your body does burn calories to digest foods, it generally doesn’t burn more than it takes in with any given food, even with celery at 6 calories per piece.

But, because they are SO LOW IN CALORIES you could eat these foods in bulk and not take in a significant amount of calories.

So if you ate nothing but bushels of these foods, all day long, you would lose weight as some of the calories would be burned digesting them, but mostly because you aren’t taking in enough to even meet your daily caloric needs.

As you’ll see with the list, it’s not a likely scenario (that you’ll crave these foods all day long) but at least these are foods that you can eat without having to feel any guilt about, or even have to give a second thought to. Simply eat without worry.

Here they are:

1- Berries: Tasty and HIGHLY enjoyable, lots of antioxidants and only 64 calories per cup. A good food to snack on.

2- Grapefruit: Watery, semi-sweet and delicious, grapefruit has only 40 calories per 1/4 lb. It’s also good for your skin and heart.

3- Celery: Boring as hell, yep. But, only 16 calories per 1/4 lb so it’s a good snack to munch on while you wait for dinner to be made.

4- Carrots: Not as boring as celery, at least they are a bit sweeter. At 40 calories per 1/4 pound, you can slice them up with some celery and enjoy with a low-fat dip.

5- Tomatoes: Very low in calories, 19 cal per 1/4 lb, and satisfying to eat with different herbs and seasonings.

6- Cucumbers: Same calorie count as celery but more enjoyable to eat as they are crunchy, watery and have a great texture. Kids love them which tells you something about how fun they are to eat.

7- Watermelon: 30 cal per 1/4 lb. Everyone loves watermelon so keep it in mind as something to buy often and keep in the fridge as part of the foods to go to when you have cravings.

8- Apples: 50 calories per 1/4 lb which still isn’t all that high. VERY healthy for you though. Enjoy these.

9- Broccoli: 34 cal per 1/4 lb. Love it or hate it, it’s one of the best foods for your health.

10- Zucchini: Almost like celery, very low in calories, tasty and good for your digestion.

There are more of course but these are your most common foods to eat as you please.
